The Bay City Cruisers Car Club was founded in 1984 as a non-profit organization in Newport, Oregon. It's purpose is to promote interest in various forms of automotive activities. To create good fellowship and sportsmanship among all members of the club. To uphold the principles of good government. To conduct club functions and activities in a manner benefitting members of the automotive sports and to encourage a better understanding of cruising as a constructive sport among members of the public, press and law enforcement.
